Softline Holding, a leading global provider of IT solutions and services, has announced the acquisition of the software development business of Aplana Group.
The deal was completed as part of Softline’s global strategy focused on advanced growth of its most promising lines of business, including through mergers and acquisitions. More than 200 employees joined Softline’s team, bringing expertise in several verticals, such as finance, automotive, agribusiness, logistics, and others.
For Softline, the acquisition of the new asset means an opportunity to create, based on the holding, a major international player with leading competencies in custom development. These competencies will help over 60 thousand customers in 50 countries meet the challenges of digital transformation. From now on, Aplana, together with other Softline’s software development services units, will be operating under the Develonica brand name.
The parties have not disclosed any financial details of the deal.
